Are you struggling to decide what business to start? Do you feel like all the options are overwhelming and you don’t know where to begin? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many people struggle with this decision. The good news is that there is a process that can help make the decision easier. In this blog post, we will discuss how to choose the perfect business for your personality type.
There is 2 sides to this equation.
1- Your Personality Type ( and of course, your interests)
2- Your Specialized Knowledge
1.
Understanding your personality type
Understanding your personality type can help you pick the right career path for you. It will determine your daily responsibilities and how well you do in different job types. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, based on Myers-Briggs methodology, will tell you what type of person you are. Some people are more introverted, while others are more extroverted. Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, understanding your personality type is essential for finding the right career.
Identifying your personality type can help you manage conflict. If you’re a “knee-jerk” personality, it can make you react emotionally. Try adjusting your behavior so you’re more receptive and analytical. When you’re the opposite, you might not be able to take responsibility for your actions. If you’re an “I-type” personality, try to avoid business ventures in which you’re the owner or CEO.
Entrepreneurs are highly organized and have a great eye for details. Entrepreneurs tend to be extraverted, which makes them great leaders and supervisors. These individuals are not as detached from details as you may think. Although they may be independent and may be more reserved, entrepreneurs have a strong sense of integrity and don’t waste time. You may want to choose a business that matches your personality type.

Ikigai
The term “Ikigai” is derived from the Japanese word for passion. It means to use what you’re good at to help other people, and to pair that with what the world needs. Then, you can find a way to make a profit by offering that. It’s a good way to test whether your business mission and goals are really what people are looking for. Here are some things to think about if you want to create your own Ikigai.
For this idea to be successful, it must have four essential components. Those elements need to align to make the business a success. The Japanese philosophy of Ikigai is an excellent frame to start with. It consists of a set of questions to be answered, and they need to be satisfied on all fronts. Once these are met, you will find success with your business. So, how do you go about figuring out which of these elements is most important to your business?
Having the right purpose is a key component of the success of your business. Ikigai is the art of connecting answers to find intersections. For example, if you want to give back to society, you could work with a nonprofit that offers financial services to those in need. You could also create a social enterprise. This would help you make a living by helping others. You could even build a charity if you are passionate about helping people.
If you have a passion for a particular field, Ikigai will be a perfect fit for you. You will be able to work with your passion and find your happiness. And by choosing a job that fits your style, you’ll have more energy and more fun at work. You’ll wake up feeling energized and eager to go to work. This is a recipe for success!
2.
Specialized Knowledge
In addition to passion, expertise is also important to being the best in the industry. I’ve found that in any type of business, certain trade secrets/expertise are required to be successful. only The best people in the business know these secrets. Even if you have great enthusiasm, if you don’t know these trade secrets, you will still fail.
So I strongly recommend that you only go into a business where you already have expertise in the industry. If not, it may take you years of trying and hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses to figure out what works. and I am You may not have the time or money. You might be wondering how to get this kind of expertise. Well, there are only two options.
The first method is Work at one of the market leaders for at least 1-2 years. By striving to be your best, you have the opportunity to learn best practices and strategies in the shortest amount of time.
The Second is simply Trial & Error, which can be time and financially consuming.
The Ultimate Test — A Test of Passion
Would You Do It for Free? — A Test of Passion
Some people would frequently ask me, “How would I know whether I actually had the love for something? I typically respond, “The solution is basic. Would you perform the task for nothing? If you inherited $1 billion and were exempt from work, what would you do?” Would you still launch the business if you were paid? If the response Oh yes, it is undoubtedly a labor of love. You are constructing the business you do from the heart. I am aware of my genuine enthusiasm for MY business.
So, If you Inherited 1 Billion Dollars do you STILL start the business?
Finally…
Trust your gut. After you’ve done all the research, you should have a pretty good idea of which business is right for you. But at the end of the day, it’s important to go with your gut feeling. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.
We hope this blog post has helped you in your decision-making process. Remember, there is no wrong answer when it comes to choosing a business. The most important thing is that you choose something that you’re passionate about and that will make you happy. Good luck!
